Day 100
by Valerie K. Baldwin
I was born a tom boy. I enjoyed playing every sport in the book as a child. I enjoyed playing in the yard with my two older brothers. Many days I wished I was a boy, just because boys were always around. I liked some girly things…. but only in small doses. I was never the girliest of girls, and I was certainly not one to be planning my wedding since I was 10 years old. As a kid all I cared about was sports. In high school I was consumed with having a performance career.
Then, along came college and everyone starts to get married and I did start dreaming about when it would be my day. I never thought it would be 10 years later, but it was certainly worth the wait! And the wedding I thought I wanted as a 20 year old is not even close to the wedding I am planning as a 28 year old. It is amazing what living a little life can do.
As I begin to wade into the world of blogging, what better thing to write about than the fun and craziness of getting married! So stay tuned for the ups, downs, and turnarounds of the final 100 days of planning a wedding!
